Transcend Ssd For Hp Netbook 1001tu Computer Doesnt Recognize USB SATA SSD HD. Hmmm.?

Computer doesnt recognize USB SATA SSD HD. Hmmm.? - transcend ssd for hp netbook 1001tu

I have a Transcend SATA 64GB SSD that I am in an external USB box, which uses. When I connect my computer makes the sound blast that indicates that a USB device is connected. In the taskbar, then said USB device found Unforutnately so if I seek unity in Windows Explorer, it does not work. I am running Windows XP on an HP Mini 1000th Everything has been completely updated. No idea why this happens?

Thanks

It is likely that whatever is done, begin to format and partition the hard drive is in the box. A quick way to check whether this is the case:
- Connect the external hard drive to your computer SSD.
- After 5-15, hold the "Windows" and press "R". Then you get your "Run Dialog".
- In the "Run" dialog, type "compmgmt" without quotes. Then you get the "Computer Management".
- See on the left side of the console, 'Disco' appears as an option. Click on that and you should see something like this:

Disk 0 should be the primary disk of the computer. There shouldThings like "healthy" and enter the type of file system (FAT32 or NTFS) and "active". If you are not assigned to a second 1-disc label marked "unknown" or "" It is likely that your external DSS. And when presented with "unallocated" is definitely needed to be formatted.
Please follow these steps from the Microsoft Support Web site are not properly initialized, partitioning and formatting the hard drive:

Such measures are essentially the same for Vista or XP. Formatting an hour, so that you feel comfortable. Any other questions, please add more to your question by e-mail or through my Yahoo! Answers profile.
Good luck.
